Statement
Art fills my soul. I have always been a doodler. The margins of my college Art History notes are filled with miniature abstracts, cartoons, and ideas for bigger works of art. I work with charcoal, oils, acrylics, watercolors, and occasionally dabble in sculpture and pottery. I am inspired by every artist that came before me and those that surround me.
More recently, I have been exploring the iPad and the numerous ways to mimic traditional painting and drawing textures and marks. The digital experience allows me to explore composition and color anywhere, anytime.
My canvases range from small to very large, including landscape, figurative, and abstract works.
